Outdoor Sofa Covers

Garden sofas fail from the cushions inwards. The frame survives, but the seat pads hold water at the seams, mildew comes through the underside where air can’t reach, and the fabric goes patchy along the top edge where the sun hits it hardest.

We make covers for outdoor couches and sofas to measure, in our workshop in Murcia, Spain. Corner units, L-shaped sets, two and three seaters, or a whole modular arrangement in one piece — cut to the dimensions you send us, so the cover sits tight over the arms and doesn’t hold water in the seat wells.

We build to any make. Most of the covers we produce are for other brands’ furniture, rattan sets included — send the measurements and, if it helps, a photo.

Corner sofas, covered as one piece

A corner set is the hardest thing in the garden to cover with a fixed-size product, which is why most people end up with two or three covers overlapping and a wet corner where they meet.

We cut corner and L-shaped covers as a single piece, to the actual footprint of your arrangement. If the set is modular and you reconfigure it seasonally, tell us — we’ll build to the layout you leave out over winter, or make it to the largest configuration so it works either way.

What we need: overall length along each side, depth, and height to the top of the back cushions. If there’s a coffee table inside the L that stays put, say so and we’ll allow for it.

Covers for rattan and other brands' sofas

Rattan garden sofas are the most common outdoor seating in the UK and among the worst served for covers: the sets are sold in dozens of slightly different sizes, and the covers offered alongside them are generic.

A made-to-measure cover fits a rattan garden sofa exactly as well as it fits ours, because it’s cut to your measurements rather than to a size range. The weave doesn’t change what the cover needs to do — shed water off the top, clear the arms, and let air move underneath so the cushions don’t sweat.

Send us the three measurements. If your set has an unusual shape, add a photo and our team will confirm before we cut.

Frequently Asked Questions — Outdoor Sofa Covers

How do I measure a corner sofa for a cover?

Measure each side of the L separately along its longest point, then the depth and the height to the top of the back cushions. If the two arms are different lengths, we need both. A photo from above helps more than anything for an unusual layout.

Yes. Most of the covers we make are for other brands’ furniture, and rattan sets are the most common. The cover is cut to your measurements, so the fit doesn’t depend on who made the sofa.

Leave them on if the cover is cut to include them — that’s how we build unless you tell us otherwise. Cushions stored loose under a cover shift and create slack. If you take them indoors over winter, tell us and we’ll cut to the frame height instead.

It stops the rain, which is most of the problem, but cushions need air. Our covers are made with ventilation so moisture can escape rather than condensing underneath. A sealed cover over damp cushions makes mildew worse, not better.

Yes, and for a set that stays in one arrangement it’s usually the better option — no overlapping edges for water to find. If you rearrange the modules through the year, we can build to the largest configuration.

We can include it in the main cover if it tucks under, or make a separate one. Tell us which you’d prefer when you send the measurements.
