What's the difference between a cantilever and a centre pole parasol?
A cantilever parasol has an offset, side-mounted pole and a weighted base, so there’s no post in your seating area — ideal for sofas and hot tubs. A centre pole parasol has a central mast through a table, the classic choice for dining areas.
What size garden parasol do I need?
For a small bistro table, a 200-250cm parasol is usually enough. For a 6-8 seater dining table, look at 300cm or above. For larger terraces or multiple loungers, our cantilever designs offer wide coverage from a single weighted base.
Are HEVEA parasols windproof?
Wind resistance depends on canopy size and base weight, not the parasol alone. Every model should be paired with a rated base — from 16kg for smaller centre pole designs up to 200kg for our largest cantilever models. See our base guide.
