How to Measure for your Fan Cover
1. Measure the Total Fan Height
Using a tape measure, measure from the base of the fan to the very highest point of the head. This measurement will be the Height of your cover.
2. Measure the Fan Head Depth
Place the tape from the front of the fan guard to the rear edge of the head. This distance corresponds to the Depth.
3. Measure the Outer Fan Diameter
Measure from side to side, passing through the centre of the fan, to obtain the full outer diameter. If the fan has a protruding grille, ensure this is included in the measurement.
4. Check the Base
If the cover is to enclose the base as well, measure the diameter or width of the base (depending on whether it is round or cross-shaped). If not, you may skip this step.
